Manchester United CEO Richard Arnold appears to have confirmed that Ajax forward Antony will join the club.
The Red Devils have stepped up their pursuit of the forward in recent weeks, while the Brazilian is also keen to join the Premier League club.
Antony is not currently training with Ajax in a bid to push through a move to United, and as a result, he was left out of the squad for Sunday's 1-0 win over Sparta Rotterdam.
After having a £68m offer rejected, United have reportedly submitted a £74m bid with a further £10m in add-ons, while Antony has supposedly agreed personal terms with the English side.
United supporters believe a deal is close after footage on social media showed the club's CEO appearing to confirm that Antony will be signing for the Red Devils.
Whilst getting into a car outside Old Trafford, Arnold was asked by a fan: "What's happening with Antony? Are we getting Antony?"
In response, Arnold nodded in the fan's direction with a smile, which led the supporter to claim: "Yes, we are!"
Although a deal for Antony appears to be close, United are still looking at other attacking targets, including PSV Eindhoven forward Cody Gakpo, who could cost £42m.
