Napoli will reportedly pay Manchester United €500,000 (£420,000) to loan central defender Axel Tuanzebe for the remainder of the 2021-22 campaign.
The 24-year-old joined Aston Villa on loan from Man United over the summer and has made 11 appearances for Steven Gerrard's side this season, including nine outings in the Premier League.
Napoli have been strongly linked with the defender in recent days, though, and it is understood that an agreement for a loan deal has been reached.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Tuanzebe is heading for Italy to undergo a medical, with the Serie A giants paying €500,000 (£420,000) to loan him for the remainder of the season.
The former England Under-21s international only has 18 months left to run on his contract with Man United, and it is unclear whether he is in the plans of his parent club moving forward.
Tuanzebe has featured on 37 occasions for the Red Devils in all competitions since debuting in 2015.
