Paris Saint-Germain confident in Angel di Maria pursuit?

Paris Saint-Germain are increasingly confident of securing a deal for Manchester United's Angel di Maria, according to a report.

French champions Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly convinced that they are winning the battle to sign Angel di Maria from Manchester United.

Les Parisiens have been heavily linked with a summer swoop for the Argentine winger, who is thought to be unhappy in the North-West since his big-money move from Real Madrid.

According to The Mirror, PSG believe that Di Maria has already made United aware that he does not want to remain at Old Trafford beyond the end of the current transfer window.

Furthermore, the Red Devils have been boosted in their rumoured pursuit of Barcelona attacker Pedro, with Chelsea said to be uninterested in a deal for the Spanish international, who has been earmarked as Di Maria's replacement.

United finished fourth in the Premier League last season.
