Report: AC Milan join Morgan Schneiderlin race

A report claims that AC Milan want to sign Manchester United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin in the January transfer window.

AC Milan are reportedly interested in signing Manchester United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin in the January transfer window.

The France international joined the Red Devils from Southampton in the summer of 2015 and made 39 appearances under Louis van Gaal during his first season at Old Trafford.

The 26-year-old has struggled for first-team football this term, however, and it is understood that Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho is prepared to sell the central midfielder at the start of 2017.

Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace have both been linked with a January move for the midfielder and according to Calciomercatoweb.it, Italian giants Milan are also now in the hunt.

Schneiderlin has only played six minutes of Premier League football this season.
