Manchester United have allegedly joined the race to prise striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang away from Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund.
Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal is planning to table a bid for the Gabon international in January after sending scouts to watch the player, according to The Mirror.
Aubameyang, who has scored 17 goals in 14 league matches this season, is said to be rated at around £42m.
Barcelona, Arsenal and Chelsea have also been linked with the former Monaco and Saint Etienne striker, who is under contract at Dortmund until 2020.
Dortmund are expected to reject any offers tabled in January, but could struggle to hold on to their top scorer indefinitely.
