West Ham United have reportedly decided to make a summer move for Manchester United centre-back Chris Smalling.
The 26-year-old has become a key player at Old Trafford over the last two seasons, having made a total of 80 appearances in all competitions during that time.
Nevertheless, the Hammers are eager to tempt the former Fulham defender back down to London as they prepare for life in the Olympic Stadium, according to the Brentwood Gazette.
The report adds that West Ham are prepared to pay the Red Devils up to £20m to secure Smalling's services.
The England international joined United from the Cottagers for an undisclosed fee in 2010.
