Wesley Sneijder believes that Netherlands were far more dangerous against Hungary when using the wings in the second half.

Netherlands playmaker Wesley Sneijder has praised his teammates' second-half performance in this evening's 4-1 victory over Hungary.

Sneijder, who created the second Dutch goal in the first half, said that he feels that he and his teammates were better when they played with more width in the second half.

"The second half was great," Goal.com quotes Sneijder as saying. "We were positioned very well and every lost ball was ours. On the wings we were very dangerous with the likes of [Jeremain] Lens and [Luciano] Narsingh.

"In the first half we played too slowly. We should have used our wings a lot more, that was where the danger came from.

"We did that in the second half and from there we cruised to a 4-1 win over Hungary. We had a real team spirit, ran those extra yards for each other and played very compact."

Netherlands are currently second in Group D on goal difference with a maximum six points.
