Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew has said that he is under no illusions going into the final game of the season.
Pardew, whose side must win at Everton to even have a chance of finishing in the top four, acknowledges that Goodison Park is a difficult place to go. However, he insists that even a defeat would take nothing from his side's achievements this season.
"Even to finish fifth is a marvellous achievement," he said. "To be in a position where we could finish third is astounding.
"We are looking forward to it. It is a tough place to go, Everton. We are under no illusions that we have to win at a difficult place, and other teams need to slip up."
The Magpies currently trail Tottenham Hotspur by a single point.
