Football Association charges Wycombe Wanderers, Northampton Town

The FA charges Wycombe Wanderers and Northampton Town with misconduct following Saturday's 1-1 draw at Adams Park.

Wycombe Wanderers and Northampton Town have been charged with misconduct by the Football Association following Saturday's match at Adams Park.

A brawl broke out between the teams towards the end of the League Two encounter, which ended 1-1 after Gregor Robertson had been sent off for Wycombe.

"It is alleged that in or around the 90th minute of this fixture, both clubs failed to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion," the FA said in a statement.

Both teams have until 6pm on October 17 to respond to the charge.
