Peterborough United come back from a goal down to share the points in a 1-1 draw with Hull City.

A second-half penalty earned Peterborough United a 1-1 draw against Hull City at London Road this afternoon.

Robert Koren threatened with an 18-yard strike on 23 minutes, but his effort was saved well.

The Tigers came close again on 28 minutes when Nick Proschwitz met Robbie Brady's cross, though the German put his header just wide.

The away side then took the lead on 33 minutes when Koren's corner deflected into the back of the net off Joe Newell.

The Posh almost grabbed an equaliser, though Jaanai Gordon's effort went just wide of the mark.

Stephen Quinn had a shot from distance on 57 minutes, but his effort was comfortable for the goalkeeper.

The referee then awarded Peterborough a penalty after 72 minutes when he judged James Chester to have brought Tommy Rowe down in the area.

Grant McCann stepped up and scored the spot kick to bring the sides level.
