Clarence Seedorf has revealed his desire to make a move to the Premier League in the near future.
The Dutchman's only spell as a head coach came to an end after less than five months when he was sacked by AC Milan in June 2014, but he is rumoured to be a target for Queens Park Rangers.
Newcastle United are also believed to be considering a move for the 39-year-old should they decide to sack Steve McClaren, and Seedorf admits that he would be keen to work in England.
"The Premier League is a great competition," he told reporters. "I would definitely explore this opportunity. If there is a good project I would be happy to consider it.
"There are a lot of rumours but to be linked with important clubs is a nice feeling and it is always better to have options than to not have options at all."
Seedorf won 11 of his 22 games in charge of Milan.
