Queens Park Rangers have announced the loan signing of striker Guilherme Dellatorre from Brazilian side Atletico Paranaense.
Rangers manager Harry Redknapp admitted that he has not seen Dellatorre play, but is looking forward to his spell with the Championship outfit.
"He's a young player from Brazil, who our scouts have watched and like," he told the club's official website. "I've not been to Brazil to see him play, but he's appeared on the radar and is a young player who is probably one for the future rather than the here and now."
The player himself said that he was "excited" to have the chance to play in England and plans to learn from the experience.
"I am very excited for this opportunity," he said. "QPR is a big club and I am very happy to be here. I have always watched English football as a kid, so it is great to now be part of it. I will give everything for the shirt and do everything to honour it."
Dellatorre scored three goals for Paranaense in the season just gone.
