Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp reportedly travelled to France this afternoon to watch transfer target Yann M'Vila.
The 22-year-old midfielder was in action for Rennes against Bordeaux at the Stade de la Route de Lorient in a match that Rennes lost 2-0.
Redknapp is a long-term admirer of M'Vila and, according to Sky Sports News, the Hoops have made a bid in the region of £7.4m for the player.
However, Rennes are believed to want a fee closer to £10m.
M'Vila, whose current contract is due to expire in June 2015, has represented France 22 times at senior international level.
