Brian McDermott has revealed that he is not actively looking to add any more players to his Reading squad before the transfer window closes at the end of the month.
The boss has been busy in the transfer market this summer, bolstering his ranks with the likes of Pavel Pogrebnyak and Garath McCleary.
However, he has insisted that it would take a special talent to become available for him to consider opening his cheque book again.
"We've got two players for every position which is what I always wanted," he told Sky Sports News. "If something comes off late in the window then maybe but there's nothing in the pipeline.
"We've got experienced players and players who have played in the league. And we've got players who are at a good age - they all are.
"They're all hungry, that's the most important thing. We've got a group that wants to do well and get better. We've had a core group together now for quite a long time so I think that augurs well for us."
The Royals open up their Premier League campaign against Stoke City this Saturday.
