Sunday's La Liga predictions including Real Madrid vs. Barcelona

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's La Liga fixtures, including Real Madrid vs. Barcelona.

Espanyol vs. Mallorca (Sunday, 1.00pm)

Mallorca will look to put crucial distance between themselves and the bottom three places in the La Liga table on Sunday, when they make the trip to Espanyol.

Since they both won promotion to the top flight last term, the hosts have fared better than their opponents, although they have dropped into the bottom half as a result of a difficult run of their own.

We say: Espanyol 2-1 Mallorca

The visitors find themselves in a dismal run of form, and, despite the Periquito's own recent struggles, we still expect the hosts to come out on top given the quality they have in their ranks.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Celta Vigo vs. Real Betis (Sunday, 3.15pm)

Real Betis will continue their push to break into the top four of the La Liga table on Sunday, when they travel to take on Celta Vigo.

Manuel Pellegrini's side returned to winning ways in their last league game to remain within two points of fourth-placed Atletico Madrid, but they were dumped out of the Europa League on Thursday and will be keen to bounce back.

We say: Celta Vigo 1-1 Real Betis

Real Betis have certainly shown themselves to be the stronger side over the course of the season, but Celta Vigo have vastly improved recently, and we predict a tight affair as a result.

Ultimately, we see Los Celestes having enough to force a share of the spoils against a Veriblancos side hit by injuries and with a dent in their confidence after Thursday's Europa League exit.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Cadiz vs. Villarreal (Sunday, 3.15pm)

Cadiz will play host to Villarreal on Sunday in a clash of major importance at both ends of the La Liga table.

The hosts have improved their chances of survival in recent weeks, despite remaining in the relegation zone, while the Yellow Submarine sit seventh, just two points outside of the top six.

We say: Cadiz 0-1 Villarreal

Cadiz have certainly improved recently and will pose a tough test for the visitors, but we see the Yellow Submarine being too strong at the weekend.

Emery's side will be full of confidence, and, with momentum on their side, they will expect to return home with all three points.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Sevilla vs. Real Sociedad (Sunday, 5.30pm)

Now sitting 10 points off the top of the La Liga table, Sevilla will look to keep their increasingly-slim title hopes just about alive when they host Real Sociedad on Sunday.

Consecutive draws have seen Julen Lopetegui's side fall well behind Real Madrid, while they now come in on the back of a disappointing continental defeat to drop out of the Europa League.

We say: Sevilla 1-1 Real Sociedad

Sevilla's struggles for victories recently, combined with a heavily wounded squad, could see them fall short again on Sunday.

La Real will certainly back themselves to leave with a result, and, despite the loss of Silva, they possess the quality to force a share of the spoils away at La Liga's second-placed side.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Real Madrid vs. Barcelona (Sunday, 8.00pm)

The latest edition of El Clasico will take place at Bernabeu on Sunday evening, as La Liga leaders Real Madrid welcome third-placed Barcelona to the Spanish capital.

Real Madrid are currently 10 points clear of second-placed Sevilla at the top of the table, while Carlo Ancelotti's side have a 15-point advantage over Barcelona heading into this weekend's contest.

We say: Real Madrid 1-1 Barcelona

Barcelona have shown immense improvement in recent weeks, and there is no question that Real Madrid will be wary of their bitter rivals in this game. There have been bigger Clasicos in recent years, but matches between these two sides are always gigantic, and we are struggling to separate them here, ultimately settling on a 1-1 draw, which would not be the worst result in the world for either side.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
