Former Real Madrid defender Roberto Carlos has compared his coaching methods to Spain boss Vicente del Bosque.
Carlos, who played under Del Bosque when the pair were at Madrid, is the current head coach of Turkish outfit Sivasspor.
"When something happens to a player I am there. I try to make life easier and I am a lot like Del Bosque. I'm intense but also find it a joy to coach," Carlos told AS.
"Vicente thought about football, then resting, then football again. I'm the same. He was a simple man who was like my father and I did not want him to leave [Real Madrid]...He was loved."
Carlos was assistant manager at Anzhi Makhachkala last season.
