Gareth Bale has claimed that he feels "more involved" at Real Madrid this season following a difficult 2014-15 campaign at the Bernabeu.
The Welshman joined the Spanish giants in the summer of 2013 and helped Los Blancos win the Champions League and Copa del Rey during his first season in Spain.
Bale struggled to match those achievements last term, however, which led to criticism from sections of the Real Madrid support.
The attacker has scored twice and registered three assists in three league games this season, however, and played a key role in Saturday's 6-0 win at Espanyol.
"I feel like I am more involved this year now. The first year you are running off adrenalin from having just signed – you are so happy to be at the club and that drives you on," he told the Daily Mail.
"But in the second year, I felt a little bit left out wide and not getting so much of the ball. Now I feel involved in the play and I think that is showing in the games that I am able to assist goals and score goals.
"We are all working hard on the training ground and on the pitch and it's coming together. We just want to score as many goals as we can."
Bale was strongly linked with a move to Manchester United in the summer transfer window.
