Jose Mourinho reiterates his desire to return to management in the Premier League after his stint at Real Madrid.

Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has reiterated his intention to manage a Premier League club in the future.

The Portuguese is currently under contract with the Spanish champions until 2016, but is open to the idea to returning to England.

"I just say openly that, for many reasons, after this the next step will be England," the 49-year-old told CNN.

"When? I don't know, I don't have an idea. I'm so happy in this moment to be manager of the best club in the world."

Mourinho managed Chelsea between 2004 and 2007 before leaving the London club by mutual consent, but is willing to go back to Stamford Bridge.

"Of course, of course," he said when asked if he would consider working under Blues owner Roman Abramovich again.

"It was a perfect example of a fantastic divorce. We are a lot in touch. We have a great relationship."

Mourinho won the Copa del Rey with Madrid in 2011 and La Liga last season.
