Bayer Leverkusen are reportedly interested in signing Real Madrid attacker Lucas Vazquez.
The 28-year-old, who is currently on the sidelines with a calf problem, has contributed one goal in eight appearances for Los Blancos during the 2019-20 campaign.
The attacker is down the pecking order at the Bernabeu, though, and his current contract with Zinedine Zidane's side will expire in the summer of 2021.
Arsenal have recently been linked with a swoop for Spain international, who could be available for transfer when the January window opens for business.
However, according to Sport Bild, the Gunners are likely to face competition from Leverkusen, with the Bundesliga side keen on a swoop amid the speculation surrounding the future of Kai Havertz.
Vazquez has scored 22 times in 191 appearances for Los Blancos in all competitions.
