Lyon have completed the signing of Real Madrid forward Mariano Diaz on a five-year contract.
The 23-year-old, who is said to have cost Lyon in the region of £6.5m, scored five times in 14 appearances for Real Madrid last season, although just one of those efforts came in La Liga.
Espanyol and Malaga were both strongly linked with the Dominican Republic international, but Lyon have won the race to sign the attacker, who will wear the number 11 shirt for his new club.

Mariano joined Real Madrid from Badalona in 2011, and scored 27 times in 33 appearances for Real Madrid Castilla before stepping into the first-team picture last summer.
The forward becomes Lyon's fourth summer signing following the arrivals of Fernando Marcal, Bertrand Traore and Ferland Mendy.
