Real Madrid are reportedly keen to agree a new contract with long-serving forward Karim Benzema.
The Frenchman, who will turn 34 years of age before the end of 2021, has netted 29 goals from 44 appearances in all competitions this season.
Benzema's form has led to Didier Deschamps ending his omission from the national team setup ahead of Euro 2020.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Real also want to extend the veteran's contract until the end of the 2022-23 campaign.
Although Benzema will inevitably attract interest from elsewhere over the summer, the report suggests that neither party are in any rush to finalise terms due to their 'strong relationship'.
As he nears the end of his 12th campaign at the Bernabeu, Benzema is looking to win his 19th piece of silverware by lifting the La Liga title at the weekend.
