Brazil legend Rivaldo has suggested that Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar should take any opportunity to play for Real Madrid in the future.
Last summer, Neymar left Barcelona to link up with PSG for a world-record fee but speculation persists that the attacker is not keen on a prolonged spell at the Parc Des Princes.
Neymar has ambitions to become the best player in world football ahead of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, and Rivaldo has claimed that will not be achieved while playing in France.
The 46-year-old told GloboEsporte: "I have even told [Neymar] he could be the best in the world, but I believe that if he stays at PSG, it will not happen. He has to leave PSG.
"The football for him, if he is to be the best in the world, has to be in Spain. If you're going to analyse, there's England, Spain, Italy, Germany - all different - but I'm talking about competitive football.
"Barcelona, because of his situation, is difficult. But I believe that, from what I hear, from people who bring information to me, he has a chance to play for Real Madrid."
Neymar has scored 28 goals in 29 appearances during his first season in France's capital.
