Cristiano Ronaldo has expressed his delight at a signing a contract extension at Real Madrid.
The Portuguese international, 28, penned a new five-year deal at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday.
"I feel really happy," Ronaldo told reporters. "I've had four years here and, for me, it's essential to feel happy.
"I want to show my love for the club in the way I am, the way I contribute to things on the pitch.
"I want to thank the fans, the president, my teammates, the directors - they made the decision easy for me."
Ronaldo joined Madrid for a then-record £80m from Manchester United in 2009.
