Roma president James Pallotta has said that his club are not in the wrong over the signing of Chelsea winger Mohamed Salah.
The Egyptian joined the Giallorossi in the summer, despite Fiorentina believing that they had the first option on bringing Salah back after his loan spell with the club in the second half of the 2014-15 season.
The Viola have lodged a complaint with FIFA but reports claim that the option was only agreed should the 23-year-old wish to return to the Serie A outfit.
Palotta told Il Tempo that he is happy with the business his side have done in the transfer window, stressing that they have done nothing wrong.
The 57-year-old said: "Having a centre-forward like Dzeko is different and Totti can play with him. Garcia will have a lot to do. Signing Salah? No, we were not in the wrong."
Roma travel to the Stadio Matusa to take on Frosinone later today.
