Sheffield United have parted company with academy head coach David Unsworth after less than a year in the job.
In a statement Blades chief executive Julian Winter thanked Unsworth for his service and said that the club will make changes at academy level following his departure.
"On behalf of the club, I'd like to sincerely thank David for his efforts and wish him well for the future," Winter told the club's official website.
"Our academy is a major part of the football club and is quickly adapting to meet the needs of the club going forward."
United kick off their League One season on Friday night at home to Notts County.
