Sheffield Wednesday boss Stuart Gray has revealed that he is keen to see how trialist Dejan Kelhar plays against English opposition.
Kelhar impressed during Wednesday's tour of Slovenia, and after inviting the former Red Star Belgrade defender to continue training with the Owls, Gray is hopeful that the 30-year-old can continue his form against Doncaster Rovers on Sunday.
The 54-year-old told The Star: "He played well so we have invited him to come back with us. He and Glenn Loovens looked like they had played 25 games together.
"Dejan will feature in Sunday's game versus Doncaster Rovers. I need to see him against British opposition.
"Dejan is an experienced player. His reading of the game is good and he has conducted himself well in training and slotted in very well with the other lads."
Kelhar, who has won six caps for Slovenia, has played for 10 different clubs during his career.
