Dusan Tadic: "It was a real team performance"

Southampton midfielder Dusan Tadic praises the all-round display of his side in their 1-1 draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Southampton midfielder Dusan Tadic has revealed that he was elated with his side's performance in their 1-1 draw against Chelsea.

Diego Costa fired the Blues ahead in the 11th minute, but the Serb got the Saints back on level terms from the penalty spot.

Jose Mourinho's men upped the ante in the second half, but Fraser Forster kept the Premier League leaders at bay to earn a point for his side at Stamford Bridge.

Tadic told the club's official website: "It's a really good result and this is going to give us a lot of confidence. After the first goal they scored we had a brilliant reaction. We showed we could play on the same level as them.

"The second half was more difficult because they attacked more. It was a real team performance."

Southampton are sixth in the Premier League following their draw with the Blues.
