Ten-man Southampton have comfortably seen off Bournemouth 2-0 at St Mary's to move back into seventh place in the Premier League.
The Saints were one man light for the final 12 minutes after Victor Wanyama was shown red, but two first-half goals proved enough to claim bragging rights in the New Forest derby.

Ronald Koeman's men dominated the first half of the contest although, a couple of Sadio Mane strikes apart, they did not have a great deal to show for their efforts with half an hour played.
Goals from Steven Davis and Graziano Pelle in the space of five minutes changed all that, though, with Dusan Tadic claiming a couple of assists in the process.
The first came following a cross from the left which Davis met ahead of Sylvain Distin to volley past Adam Federici, before Pelle also got the better of the ex-Portsmouth defender to nod home inside the box.
Eddie Howe was forced to make a couple of changes at the break following his side's abject display across the opening 45 minutes, and things did seem to improve for the Cherries after the restart.

One of the new faces, Junior Stanislas, fired in a shot that Virgil van Dijk deflected behind to provide just a glimmer of attacking hope.
Bournemouth maintained their pressure in a reversal of the first half, but the Saints were remaining strong at the back and looked comfortable enough despite their weak possession tally.
That looked likely to change 12 minutes from time when Wanyama was shown a second yellow card for bringing down Lee Tomlin, leaving Koeman's side to see out the contest one man short.

Bournemouth - who end the weekend one point clear of the drop zone - were unable to find a route back into the game, with Matt Ritchie's drilled effort the closest they came to breaching their opponents' net.
The Saints, now without defeat in five league matches, have extended their unbeaten run against Bournemouth to six games as a result of today's triumph.
