Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has bemoaned his side's inability to beat Besiktas in tonight's Europa League Group C clash at White Hart Lane, which finished 1-1.
The 21-year-old opened the scoring in the 27th minute, but a late Vlad Chiriches handball gave the visitors the chance to level proceedings from the spot, which Demba Ba duly took.
Kane told reporters after the game: "It is always great to get on the scoresheet but we wanted to come away with a win and to concede that late goal is very disappointing. We have to move on and look to the next match.
"Whenever I get the chance I want to try and impress and score and I think I did that tonight but overall we are disappointed. We have to move on from this result."
The result puts Spurs third in Group C.
