Report: Nacer Chadli out for a month

Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly be without Nacer Chadli for a month after he suffered ankle ligament damage against Liverpool.

Tottenham Hotspur winger Nacer Chadli has reportedly been ruled out for a month after suffering ankle ligament damage at the weekend.

Chadli limped off in the early stages of Saturday's goalless draw with Liverpool due to the injury, which forced Spurs to turn to summer signing Clinton Njie for the remainder of the game.

Mauricio Pochettino suggested after the game that the Belgian may have damaged his ligaments, and Sky Sports News claims that Spurs could now be without his services for a month.

It comes as a further blow to the squad's attacking threat with Son Heung-min currently on the sidelines with a foot problem.

Spurs are back in action against Anderlecht in the Europa League on Thursday.
