American investment company Cain Hoy has ended its interest in a Tottenham Hotspur takeover.
The company were reported to have been interested in a potential takeover for the White Hart Lane outfit.
Cain Hoy initially revealed that the company were in the preliminary stages of making an offer for the Premier League club in September.
The US firm had until October 10 to go ahead with its interest or completely withdraw altogether.
A statement from the London Stock Exchange reveals that the company's interest has been "terminated" and it is "no longer considering making an offer", according to BBC Sport.
The statement did leave open the potential of a renewed interest after a six-month restriction, which comes into effect immediately.
