Serie A side Inter Milan are weighing up a summer approach for Tottenham Hotspur winger Erik Lamela, according to a report.
The 25-year-old is said to have been targeted by the Italian club's director of football Walter Sabatini, with whom he previously worked during their time at Roma.
Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio suggests that Inter are unlikely to move for the Argentina international until the end of the season, at which point Spurs may be more willing to offload.
Lamela returned from a year-long layoff against Leicester City in November and has since gone on to make a further 11 appearances.
Inter will not be put off by Lamela's injury troubles, however, and it is claimed that they are prepared to spend big to meet Tottenham's demands.
