Tottenham Hotspur defender Jan Vertonghen has insisted that he is "happy" at the club amid rumours he could leave North London this year.
The Belgian is out of contract at the end of this season and as a result is free to talk with foreign clubs this month about a free transfer in the summer.
Speaking after Spurs' 2-1 victory over Middlesbrough in the FA Cup, Vertonghen told reporters: "I feel like everything I say will affect it in one way or another, so I prefer not to answer.
"But I'm a happy man, I love the guys, life is good in London and at this great club."
The former Ajax man was restored to the first team against Boro after being dropped for Spurs' 1-0 defeat at home to Liverpool on Saturday.
Vertonghen has made 14 Premier League starts for Spurs this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
