MLS outfit Los Angeles Galaxy have reportedly opened talks over a deal for Real Madrid attacker Gareth Bale.
The Wales international endured a frosty relationship with Zinedine Zidane at the Bernabeu, which culminated in him rejoining Tottenham Hotspur on loan for the 2020-21 campaign.
Bale recorded an impressive tally of 16 goals and three assists in all competitions during his return to North London, but his future remains shrouded in uncertainty as he prepares to return to the Bernabeu.
Tottenham supposedly want to keep hold of Bale if Harry Kane ends up successfully pushing for an exit, but according to journalist Nicolo Schira, LA Galaxy have touched base over a move.
Schira adds that the Welshman is not in Carlo Ancelotti's plans moving forward at Real Madrid, in spite of the fact that the Blancos manager has seemingly opened the door for Bale to reignite his career in the Spanish capital.
The attacker provided two assists for Wales during the group stage of Euro 2020 and is expected to start when the Dragons meet Denmark in their last-16 battle later on Saturday.
