Borussia Monchengladbach reportedly decide to bid £12m for Tottenham Hotspur forward Vincent Janssen.

Borussia Monchengladbach have reportedly decided to follow up their initial interest in Tottenham Hotspur forward Vincent Janssen.

Earlier this month, it was claimed that the Bundesliga club were considering a move for Janssen, who struggled during his first campaign in the Premier League.

Due to the form of Harry Kane, he was limited to just seven starts in the top flight but when he did receive some playing time, he largely failed to make an impact.

Janssen still has three years remaining on his existing contract but according to Bild, Monchengladbach are ready to make a bid of £12m for his signature.

The fee is considerably lower than what Spurs paid last summer, however, and they are likely to reject the German outfit's opening advances for the Netherlands international.
