Newcastle United want to sign Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Oliver Skipp on loan, according to a report.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Oliver Skipp is allegedly a loan target for Newcastle United.

The 20-year-old is back at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer following a successful spell at Norwich City, which saw him make 47 appearances during the 2020-21 campaign.

A recent report claimed that a number of Premier League clubs were keen to sign the midfielder on a short-term basis this summer.

According to the Daily Mail, Newcastle boss Steve Bruce is a huge admirer of Skipp and wants to bring him on loan to St James' Park for the 2021-22 season.

The report claims that Tottenham are still considering keeping hold of the youngster for the new season, though, and will not make a decision on his future until the final stages of the window.

Skipp has made 23 appearances for Spurs in all competitions and was handed a new four-year contract by the North London club last summer.
