Mauricio Pochettino: 'Hugo Lloris going nowhere'

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino quells speculation over Hugo Lloris's future at White Hart Lane by insisting that he will not be sold.

Mauricio Pochettino has quashed rumours linking goalkeeper Hugo Lloris with a move away from Tottenham Hotspur during the summer.

Speculation is rife that the Frenchman could quit Spurs following a run of form that has seen the Lilywhites effectively surrender their hopes of Champions League qualification.

However, Pochettino says that Lloris - who only signed a contract extension back in July - remains as committed to the club as he was last summer.

"Nothing has changed from four, five or six months ago, when we last spoke about the rumour," the Spurs boss told reporters.

"Hugo wants to play the Champions League here for Tottenham and everything else is just rumours.

"Nothing is true and nothing has changed with the situation. He is happy here and wants to reach the Champions League with Tottenham; that is his dream."

The France international joined from Lyon in 2012.
