Radu Dragusin's agent has claimed that his client does not want a move away from Genoa in January, amid interest from Tottenham Hotspur.
The 21-year-old signed for Alberto Gilardino's men on a permanent deal from Italian giants Juventus in the summer, having the spent the previous season on loan at Stadio Comunale Luigi Ferraris.
Dragusin has operated as part of a back three and back four this campaign, featuring in 18 Serie A matches and managing three goal contributions.
The Romania international netted his second goal of the league season in the final game of 2023, with his thumping header breaching net of Yann Sommer in a 1-1 draw against Inter Milan on December 29.
Despite significant interest in Dragusin - including from Ange Postecoglou's Tottenham - the player's agent Florin Manea has poured cold water on suggestions that the defender could moving during the January window.

Speaking recently, Manea confirmed that Dragusin has received offers from the Saudi Pro League and Spurs since the start of the season.
"He does not think about money, but about prospects for growth and the team he can play for," Manea told Play TV via Football Italia.
"We were contacted by Saudi Pro League clubs, but he did not even want to listen to their proposals. Personally, I have not been contacted by Napoli, Roma or AC Milan.
"In any case, Radu is not thinking about leaving Genoa mid-season, it would be like leaving some unfinished business for him. I have had contact with clubs in the Premier League, including Tottenham and others, but at this moment he does not want to leave.
"If Genoa talk to someone and reach an agreement, we will listen to their proposal. I don't know exactly what ideas the club has and what formula they would eventually consider for his sale."

It is no secret that Spurs are in the market for reinforcements at centre-back during January, as Postecoglou looks to bolster his side's top-four chances.
Micky van de Ven suffered a hamstring injury during the 4-1 loss to London rivals Chelsea in early November, leaving the Lilywhites short of options in their backline.
With Argentine Cristian Romero also unavailable at times in recent months, Postecoglou has been forced to play the likes of Ben Davies and Emerson Royal out of position.
It is understood that Spurs are pushing for the signature of Dragusin within the next week, with the North Londoners moving their attentions away from Nice defender Jean-Clair Todibo.
On the back of a 3-1 win over Bournemouth in the Premier League, Tottenham will begin their quest for a long-awaited trophy as they host Vincent Kompany's Burnley in the FA Cup on Friday night.
