Real Madrid are reportedly prepared to offer Tottenham Hotspur £35m to land the signing of goalkeeper Hugo Lloris this summer.
The France international made a switch to White Hart Lane from Lyon in 2012 and still has three years left to run on his current deal.
According to The Mirror, Spurs now want to offer the 29-year-old a new contract at the club to fend off interest from elsewhere, but Madrid could scupper those plans by making a big-money bid.
Lloris is said to be unwilling to extend his terms in North London at this moment in time, as he waits to see if an approach is made by Spanish giants Madrid.
Los Blancos are thought to be in the market for a new keeper to put pressure on current first-choice stopper Keylor Navas next season.
