Real Madrid have agreed a fee with Tottenham Hotspur for playmaker Luka Modric, according to reports.
The Croat has been linked with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu all summer, although Spurs have been reluctant to sell one of their best players.
However, Modric is thought to desperate to make the move to Spain and now looks like he could get his wish after the two clubs reportedly agreed a £25m transfer fee, despite Spurs trying hold out for £35m.
The 26-year-old will be allowed to leave White Hart Lane once his current employers have found a replacement, according to the Daily Mail.
Spurs turned down a £40m offer from Chelsea for the player last summer.
