Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly stepped up their pursuit of Hull City striker Jarrod Bowen following an injury to Harry Kane.
Kane will be sidelined until March after suffering an ankle injury during last weekend's 1-0 defeat to Manchester United, forcing Spurs to consider possible January reinforcements.
Son Heung-min is also unavailable due to his participation in the Asian Cup, leaving Mauricio Pochettino with Fernando Llorente, Vincent Janssen and Lucas Moura as striking options.
The Mirror reports that Spurs have identified Bowen as a target to provide further cover for Kane, having scouted the 22-year-old on numerous occasions already.
Tottenham are considering a £12m bid for the in-form striker, who has scored nine goals in his last eight games for Hull.
However, Spurs are expected to face competition from the likes of Burnley, Crystal Palace and Leicester City for Bowen's signature, while Hull are reluctant to lose their star asset midway through the season.
