Aston Villa have reportedly reignited their interest in Tottenham Hotspur winger Andros Townsend.
It was reported earlier this year that Villa boss Tim Sherwood was keen to sign Townsend, but the speculation came to an end when a shoulder injury forced the 24-year-old to undergo an operation.
However, The Mirror claims that Villa are prepared to launch a move for the England international after he returned to training with his Spurs teammates.
The report suggests that Everton and Newcastle United are also interested in Townsend, who may consider a move away to boost his chances of securing a spot in next summer's Euro 2012 squad, despite not being desperate to leave White Hart Lane.
Townsend started 10 Premier League games last season.
