Stoke City chairman Peter Coates has revealed that the club are interested in signing PSV Eindhoven defender Erik Pieters.
The Potters are yet to add to their squad this summer following the appointment of manager Mark Hughes.
"We haven't made any decision (on Pieters) because we are looking at options, but he's certainly a possibility," Coates told The Sentinel.
Pieters, who joined PSV from Utrecht in 2008, made only two appearances last season due to a number of injuries.
