Sunderland defender Michael Turner has urged his teammates to "get a result" for manager Martin O'Neill upon his return to Aston Villa this weekend.
O'Neill, who took over at the Stadium of Light in December, has since led the Black Cats out of the relegation places and into the top half of the Premier League. However, Turner insists that this in particular will be "a big game" for the manager.
"I'm sure the manager and the other staff who were at Villa will be determined to get a result there," he told the Sunderland Echo.
"It's going to be a big game for them, as it is for us, so we're determined to win.
"We had a slow start to the season and then the manager came in and we went on a great run with some brilliant results. The lads are determined to finish the season well."
Sunderland are in ninth place in the Premier League.
