The agent of Sunderland winger Emanuele Giaccherini has refuted the speculation linking his client with a return to former club Juventus in January.
The 28-year-old joined the Black Cats on a four-year deal from the Italian champions for a fee in the region of £6.5m in July, but has already seen his future in the North East subject doubt.
Juve Coach Antonio Conte is reportedly keen on bringing the attacker back to the Turin-based club this winter but, according to his agent, Furio Valcareggi, the rumours are wide of the mark.
"I read the news but, in all honesty, I haven't seen any evidence," he told Calciomercato. "First of all, I don't understand how he would be a target for Juventus, who are out of the Champions League.
"Secondly, contrary to what I keep hearing, the player is having a great time at Sunderland and his family are very happy in England.
"I've also spoken with Giaccherini's family and no one is aware of any interest from Juventus."
Giaccherini, whose existing deal runs until 2017, has scored three times in 19 appearances this season.
