Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup has suggested that prolific forward Michu could leave the Liberty Stadium next season.
The Spaniard was linked with a summer exit this year, but decided to stay put in Wales after netting 18 goals in 35 appearances in the Premier League during his first season with the Swans.
However, Laudrup has admitted that there is uncertainty over whether the 27-year-old will stay at the club beyond the 2013-14 campaign.
"[Michu] wanted to stay after his first season because he wanted to take part in the second year with Europe and everything," FourFourTwo.com quotes Laudrup as saying.
"What happens in the future? I don't know, but I think it's so important what the player wants and I don't think Michu had any doubts whatsoever that he wanted to stay here this season, but then what happens next year no one knows."
Michu has scored five goals already this season, his latest coming in Swansea's 2-0 win over Crystal Palace on Sunday.
