Swansea City have reportedly added Ryan Babel to a list of potential transfer targets as they look to build on last season's eighth-place finish in the Premier League.
The former Liverpool forward is expected to leave current club Kasimpasa this summer, and recent reports suggested that he was close to signing for Turkish rivals Besiktas.
However, negotiations between the two clubs have broken down, and the Daily Mail claims that Swansea have made an enquiry about his availability.
The 28-year-old would add versatility to Garry Monk's attack due to his ability to play in a wide position or as the main striker, and they were believed to be interested in his services back in 2013 during his spell with Hoffenheim.
Babel spent four years with Liverpool before leaving Anfield in 2011.
