Fiorentina striker Mario Gomez has reportedly emerged as a January transfer window target of Swansea City.
The 29-year-old has struggled for form and fitness since his arrival from Bayern Munich and has netted just five goals for the Viola.
According to Football Italia, there are reports from Italy that claim the Swans have made a move for the German international as they look to replace Manchester City-bound Wilfried Bony.
Gomez has scored 25 goals in 60 games for Germany, but he was not part of his country's winning World Cup squad last summer.
