Liverpool have reportedly
turned down a bid from Turkish side Trabzonspor for defender Kolo Toure. The 33-year-old Ivorian has one year remaining on his current deal with the Premier League club.
Brendan Rodgers has described Mario Balotelli as a
"big talent" ahead of Liverpool's pre-season match against AC Milan. The Serie A side's striker had been linked with a return to the Premier League this summer following speculation that Arsenal were trying to sign him, but manager Arsene Wenger has dismissed the rumours.
Carl Jenkinson has revealed that he is
eager to make a good impression at West Ham United after joining the club on loan from Arsenal. The 22-year-old defender moved to Upton Park on Saturday, signing a season-long deal with the Hammers.
That's all from me for today, but Sian Cowper will now be with you until 7pm to keep you up to date with all of the latest news and gossip coming out of the summer transfer window. Goodbye!
Thanks Jack! Southampton striker Pablo Osvaldo is expected to be leaving the club before the end of the transfer window, and he seems to be confirming that the move is all but done, stating that the
"cannot wait" to start working for Inter Milan coach Walter Mazzarri.
There's been much speculation surrounding the future of Arsenal striker Joel Campbell following his eye-catching performances at the World Cup. The Costa Rica international is yet to play for the club, having had several spells on loan in recent years. Galatasaray have been interested in the forward, but their president says that Arsene Wenger
will not let Campbell leave the Gunners.
Wilfried Zaha has failed to find a regular place in the Manchester United team since his move to Old Trafford. It would appear that he is keeping his options open this transfer window, reportedly
agreeing terms with three other sides.
Dutch international Memphis Depay is another player that has been linked with a move as a result of his performances at the World Cup this summer. The 20-year-old has been linked with Tottenham and Manchester United, and has said that he will
listen to any offer.
In Spain, Barcelona are reportedly looking to
sell right-back Dani Alves. The La Liga side are keen to offload him now rather than risk losing him on a free when his contract is up next summer.
As you've probably already heard, Frank Lampard could be on his way back to the Premier League, albeit temporarily, with Manchester City reportedly trying to bring him in from New York City FC on loan. The chairman of the Chelsea Supporters Group, Trizia Fiorellino, has insisted that the club's fans will be
supportive if the 36-year-old does return to England.
Southampton are in need of a few new players following the departure of five members of their squad already this summer. It appears that Inter Milan midfielder Ezequiel Schelotto could be on his way to St Mary's, but his agent reveals that they are
waiting for the Italian club to finalise the deal.
Queens Park Rangers have been linked with a number of players in the last couple of days. Well according to Juventus, they've added to their squad this afternoon, as the Italian side have
announced that Mauricio Isla will spend the season on loan with the London side.
Ricky van Wolfswinkel has been undergoing a medical with French side Saint-Etienne this weekend ahead of a proposed loan spell there. According to reports, the Norwich City striker has
passed the tests, so should be on his way out of Carrow Road in the coming days.
Paraguayan striker Oscar Cardozo appears to be on the move. He's been linked with West Ham United, but Trabzonspor have confirmed that they have
reached an agreement with Benfica over the sale.
Gary Medel is expected to leave Cardiff City before the end of the window, and this afternoon it has emerged that he may have
agreed a deal with Inter Milan.
The Football League kicks off in just a week, leaving the 72 clubs outside of the Premier League with just seven days to add to their squad for the start of the season. However, Swindon Town manager Mark Cooper has revealed that he is
no closer to completing any new signing.
Well that's all from me this evening, but Mark Langshaw will be here for the next four hours to keep you up to date.
Thanks, Sian! There's plenty of pre-season action going on this evening in addition to the Commonwealth Games, but I'll be delivering live updates on the latest comings and goings in the transfer market right here.
Former Chelsea goalkeeper Mark Bosnich has
weighed in on the matter of whether Petr Cech will still be a Blue next season. He believes that the veteran stopper is certain to leave Stamford Bridge if he is forced to play second fiddle to Thibaut Courtois.
Reports suggest that Borussia Dortmund winger Marco Reus was on the verge of signing for Arsenal in June, only for the Gunners to pull out of the deal when he picked up an injury playing for Germany. It is also claimed that Arsene Wenger has resumed his interest in the player, who has rejected to new contract at Dortmund.

Barcelona and Brondby are
reportedly involved in a two-horse race for Liverpool defender Daniel Agger. The arrival of Dejan Lovren from Southampton has cast doubt on the Dane's future at Anfield. Barca is obviously the more glamorous destination, but Brondby would be a homecoming for the player.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has
denied reports that the club has made a formal approach for Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira. The Frenchman admitted that he is interested in the player, but Chelsea are said to be the frontrunners for his services.
It's been relatively quiet in terms of transfer news this evening, but there were a couple of big stories earlier on. Queens Park Rangers have
signed Mauricio Isla on loan from Juventus and Manchester City are understood to be in
negotiations to take Frank Lampard on loan from New York City FC in a move that is sure to irk Chelsea fans!
That's all from me for this evening, but I'm leaving you in the capable hands of Chris O'Keefe, who will bring you all of the latest rumblings from the transfer market until 2am.
Cheers Mark! Yes, still plenty of transfer gossip left before we shut up shop at Sports Mole towers for the evening. We'll start in the Championship where Brentford boss Mark Warburton has blasted Wigan Athletic
for their "unacceptable" bid for Adam Forshaw.
Warburton says he is worried that the Latics' pursuit could be unsettling the youngster.
Before we delve too far into the world of transfers, I should draw your attention to tonight's pre-season friendly between Liverpool and AC Milan. Shane Callaghan will
take you through the action, with kick-off fast approaching.
DONE DEAL! Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini has
confirmed that Frank Lampard will join the Premier League champions on-loan until January.
From there, he will link up with new MLS franchise New York City ahead of the new season in North America.

Arsenal are reportedly
showing an interest in Mats Hummels. Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has asked to be kept informed regarding the German defender's availability.
Hummels has been heavily linked with joining the Louis van Gaal three-at-the-back revolution at Old Trafford.
Speaking of new signings, one of Liverpool's new recruits has missed a penalty. Rickie Lambert saw his spot kick saved midway through the first half of their friendly with AC Milan. Remember
Sports Mole are bringing you
live commentary of the game in Charlotte.
Meanwhile, Cesc Fabregas has been hailed as the "missing piece" in Chelsea's push for a Premier League title. That's according to manager Jose Mourinho.
This follows an interview, given last week to a Croatian newspaper, suggesting that Luka Modric was targeted by the Blues, before they turned to Fabregas.

Liverpool's shopping spree shows little sign of abating. The
Liverpool Echo is reporting that Javier Manquillo, 20, is due on Merseyside for a medical ahead of a
possible two-year loan deal.
On the subject of Liverpool, the Reds
reached the final of the International Champions Cup with ease after beating AC Milan 2-0. Goals from Joe Allen and Suso proved to be enough.
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has warned potential suitors Paris Saint-Germain that neither Oscar or Eden Hazard will be sold.
He told the Daily Star: "One will go from the squad that we have now â but I have yet to decide who. But it won't be a senior player."
