Wales international Gareth Bale is set to be fit for the World Cup despite struggling in his time with Los Angeles FC.

Wales captain Gareth Bale is expected to be fit for the World Cup, despite struggling with injury problems.

Bale is currently playing for Los Angeles FC after leaving Real Madrid in the summer to complete a move to the MLS.

Although the 33-year-old scored two goals in his first four appearances for LAFC, he has only started two of the 13 games that he has played.

The forward has reportedly been dealing with injury issues, but according to The Sun, he will be fit for the World Cup in Qatar.

LAFC are set to face Philadelphia Union in the MLS final on Saturday, and although Bale is expected to begin the game on the bench, he could potentially make a substitute appearance.

Wales begin their World Cup campaign against the United States on November 21 before facing Iran and England.
